#Adding Games to Your Collection

There are three ways to add games to your collection.

Your game collection with covers, platforms, and values

#Method 1: Search by Name

  1. Go to Collection → Add Game
  2. Type the game title in the search box
  3. Select the correct game from the search results
  4. Choose your Platform (e.g., PlayStation 2, Nintendo Switch)
  5. Set the Condition, Region, and Purchase Price
  6. Click Save

#Method 2: Scan a Barcode

On your phone:

  1. Go to the Scan page
  2. Point your camera at the game's barcode
  3. GamerVault will look up the game and pre-fill the details
  4. Review and save

#Method 3: Manual Entry

If a game isn't found by search:

  1. Go to Collection → Add Game
  2. Click "Can't find your game?"
  3. Enter the title, platform, and other details manually
  4. Save it — it will be linked to IGDB data later

#Tips

  • Add the Purchase Price to track your investment accurately
  • Take a photo of the item for visual reference
  • Set the Condition correctly for accurate market valuation
